Moody skies above the Thames
on early winter morn
I’d shiver in the brittle chill
save for the coat I’ve worn
But Tower Bridge beneath the blue
with massive skies right there
Is such to take my breath away
That I just had to share

The view up here on Devil’s Dyke
looking to the West
is I think in Sussex
one of the very best
In the fading distance
Chanctonbury Ring
and rolling up to that far point
the hills that make me sing

Breathtaking

Over in a Western sky
seen from Goring beach
a band of yellow ochre
on horizon, out of reach
I know there’s sunshine out there
but from the grey above the sea
I know the rain will come
and keep the warming rays from me

fascinating colour, amorous persona,

in  sanctity,  sacred  and   puritan

spotless, open, arrayed teeth-like

sparkling , impeccable, radiant,

no crookedness, smudges, no cracks,

pervading fragrance, alluring form, tiny,cute
