I AM BLESSED

 Every night I count my blessings

and I‘m thankful for each one

’cause I know I‘ve not been promised

I‘ll see the rising sun

 

 Every moment is so precious

every day is special too

but the memories that I treasure most

have all been made with you

 

You are the love I‘ve longed for

You are my dream come true

and I know each day

that I am Blessed

when I wake up next to you

I’m Thankful For You:

My Wife
My Children
My Family
My Friends
My Followers And Readers

PAST

Past
Haunts me more
Than it ever did before
For it has a longer history to pour

Haunted
I stick to myself
Holding tight I wonder
More about the consequences
That could have been well mended

An Angel

Some say,

An angel was sitting in the passenger seat;

Sometimes, I believe it, too.

 

Some say,

The good only goes for so long;

The well will dry up soon.

 

Whether it rains or shines,

Someone is on my side:

~ Coverlet Castles ~

 

The house was happy, it came alive
With a weekend visitor, of only five
Toys, trinkets scattered about
Laughter upon laughter, shout upon shout

Coverlet castles, firewood forts
Good guys, bad guys of all sorts
Dinosaurs, dragons, transformers too
Staged on the hearth; imagination flew

A Seed Unknown

are we not fruits, dear
graced under one branch
perched high by birth
blessed with a vision

A Short Ride

we are tops
rotating about
on trajectories
we are amused
believing to be free
