Ice Eyes

by Harry

Submitted by   Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

I look into your eyes for warmth
but all I see is a piece of drifting ice.

I control myself trying not to lose my mind
but darling holding you is my vice.

So here I am showing you pieces of me hoping you realize
but you show me there’s no forever just melting ice.

Reward:

by Harry

Submitted by thereckoning12

.

Enrolling in the clubs, groups and organizations.

Membership has its privileges, they say, eyes glowing with the hungry stare of zombies

wanting to skip along in sync with the group.

They search for power in numbers

Hoping for anonymity and shelter from the truth

But the numbers aren’t enough to crowd out the lies

that crush and maim their natural purity.

as i ponder

by Harry

Submitted by leslie walker

.
as i ponder
under the willow
at christmas my sorrow
in the night of christmas
with willow and the robin
with arrow of time

the killed the poet
of the little wood
child of carol
with snow
of the willow
man the cold and shivery child
on the rod with red breast
her little robin

who sang her song the
orphan child of sorrow
with a Christmas carol
tears in the snow
with the willow pem
of child of the road

CITY LIGHTS

by Harry

Submitted by Frederick Calovich
.

City lights
Of red, green, and gold,
Reflect off the river,
In the early morning cold.
City lights,
Of red, green and gold,
Try to out shine
The morning moon so bold.

Vain is Vein

by Harry

Submitted  by  Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

You are so vain playing pain’s game
for vain is a vein bringing pain to those sane.

You are so vain claiming insanity for personal gain
for pain is a wain bringing fain to those insane..

You are so vain being so fain thinking am insane
for blame is a vane cutting a brain into a twain..

My shoulders rise like small boulders

by Harry

Submitted by jillianprendergast

My shoulders rise like small boulders
Above the hot bathwater
I watch the swirls of soap
Reaching through the ripples
For signs
Above my navel
Breathing in , forgetting to release

Depth of my dream

by Harry

Submitted by Prof Nimms

.

Oh how brave my decision was.
I made the rhyme of my heart flow.
Steep hollow mind filled with dose.
It was love, bigger than fallow

I measured its sweet savour.
It sparkled as lucent as a dewdrop
I wondered where it came from; such a flavour.
Friends heard from me, it is my prop

Wilt to Grow

by Harry

Submitted by Pasithea AnimaLibera

.

No body grows until it wilts another
a parable from nature born by roses.

A rose is a promise blossoming with charm
watered in sacrifice to bear hope in beauty.

It grows a calyx filled with love’s wine
swirling around a sepal so divine.

The Last Journey

by Harry

Submitted by cmapillay

.

I don’t care where I lived, how I lived, when I lived, with whom I lived

The last journey to the moon, I want to be with you

I want to hold your hands, I want to kiss your cheeks,

All I want to say and hear is, I do I do I do…

I want to gaze at the stars with you,

From a place, where there is nothing else to be seen,

I want to whisper in their ears and tell,

What a journey it has been.

I want to peep in the dark and call the fireflies

I want no other lights around me

All I want to see, is your gleaming eyes

All I wish, is your aura around me….
