THREE LITTLE LINES OF POETRY

Three little lines of poetry

so easily I read

but then I found them wandering

deep inside my head

 

 

Then slowly, and so softly

I heard the whispering start

and before too long, I heard the song

they were singing to my heart

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Three little lines of poetry 

healed, the broken hearted me

with words so strong and beautiful

they set my spirit free

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Three little lines of poetry

so simple and so strong

and in my dreams, I hear them singing

and I softly hum along
