In a Brighton sky

by Jem Croucher
Reflections on the water
in a Brighton sky tonight
moonlight over flattened sea
the pier awash with light
Empty now the beach for chill
with precedence now rules
the water though inviting saved
for shivers and for fools

This serenity a picture
of fair Brighton by the sea
wonderful 'most any time
and a lovely place to be

  1. Living in Montana, I miss the serenity of the sea. I have learned to find it in the mountains and the beauty of our rivers. And I agree wholeheartedly that “the water though inviting (needs to be) saved for shivers and for fools” Hah!

  2. Stunning photo and beautiful words. Thanks for sharing.
