When the rain came at last it was long overdue not that the sunshine we'd ever eschew But the ground was so parched and the water was low so the need was profound for the reservoir flow
And the farmers and gardeners were mighty relieved as the long lack of rainfall had left them all peeved So we danced as the patter of raindrops fell fast and the temperature dropped for some respite at last
