Mother of All

by Venkat

trees mumble, sunken deep
on paws, held by silent hoods
loins of blood, hearts to keep
stars on teeth, deep in woods

words nailed on the breath
seal the only love, uncaged
a bliss rolls, louder than death
flags of the long dark, unaged

the silence bled, mother of all
back to her heart, the only door
to memories of standing tall
on her edge, the only shore
