Thinking about this on Valentine’s Day.
Dating is daunting, especially now with the pandemic making the “meet and greet” a bad option for those staying safe with the Best Practices to not contract nor spread the virus. Computer, or e-dating, has been, is and will be a practical way to meet, communicate, and see if there might be a “connection” (similar interests, compatibility, chemistry); and, if all the cosmic tumblers fall into place, find a meaningful, lasting relationship. Computer dating has proven results. People do find love and get married.
But computer dating has its share of pitfalls and mine fields. Women need to take a very cautious approach and follow Best Practices to not get burned by con artists and worse. When a woman gets to the point that she wants to “meet” her match, either in person or virtually, she should make things perfectly clear about what she expects. This little limerick should do the trick.
E-dating’s fraught with misrepresentation,
So I’ll be upfront with this declaration –
The first meeting’s a test,
So please do your best….
Not to live down to my expectation.
