no words prepared today
so it’s anybody’s guess to what
my pen will have to say
It could be about the weather
or some words about the place
or somewhere I’ve been recently
with a smile upon my face
But one thing’s there for certain
and all will be just fine
as coaxed here from the poet’s gift
these words will all be mine
