With inspiration II

We poets we are never short
of things to write about
for life is always talking
by a whisper or a shout

It always has a thing to say
if one has ears to listen
and capture something magical
to brighten and to glisten

We poets have this task you see
to bring that joy to you
as capturing a slice of life
is something that we do
