Thanksgiving Limericks for a Year That We’re Thankful Is Almost Over

by Joel Kravitz

The Thanksgiving feast is always a winner.
There’s nothing like a big turkey dinner.
Bird and sides, then dessert,
We eat ’til we hurt…
And nobody ever leaves thinner.

An annual exercise worth repeating,
A day where will power takes a beating.
You just can’t get enough
Of so much delicious stuff…
A holiday where we celebrate overeating!

It starts the season of my spreading ass.
Good thing, it soon will pass.
Due to the expanse
I can’t button my pants…
For me, redefining “critical mass.”

Happy Thanksgiving everyone – My best to everyone who has visited my limerick posts. I appreciate your support. I am thankful that there are people out there that like my silly limericks…amongst many other blessings I have received ( a great wife who knows me better than I know myself and still loves me anyway.)

Keep the faith and never lose your sense of humor. Those two things will always get you through.

  2. Thank you Joel for such funny limericks.
We have read and guffawed and gotten much kicks.
    The joy of the season,
    Embodied in the poem,
The Pets Mafia sends you much love and licks!
