Dear Lady Sniper

by William

Your smile is so sweet

Your eyes never show the heat

They stare just blankly ahead

As if they already know

That you are dead

Grit your teeth and fight another day

You do look okay

But it’s that special jacket

That might give you away

Dear Lady Sniper

You are as lethal as a viper

But there’s a price upon your head

Some might say

You would be better off dead

It’s a killing field unknown to most

There’s never a need to make a toast

Because when you’re dead

You are dead

Nothing more would need to be said

Dear Lady Sniper

I can see the tension in your face

I can hear your blood begin to race

Stop now before it’s too late

Oh Lady Sniper, it is too late
