Breakfast on the beach

Down at the beach hut
for bacon and eggs
Early Saturday morn
No-one else here
just us and the sea
on the beach not long after dawn

It’s cathartic down here
our haven near home
Somewhere we just love to be
Hut 101 on Lancing
Beach Green
on the coast by the Sussex sea
