when want is a need: POEM

~~~~~
I wished for the sun.
As many others wished for the rain.
I wished for the grain.
As many others wished for the soil.
I wished for the ocean.
As many others wished for a token!
I wished for the season.
As many others had not for reason.
I wished for the time.
And for that, I was given this rhyme.
The emergence: whimsy poetryย
THE BUTTERFLY MET THE BEE.
AND THE BEE MET THE BEETLE.
THE BUTTERCUP MET THE BLADE.
BUT IN BETWEEN MANY
YELLOW DANDELION
CAPTURED THE SCENE.
All things were made by HIM. And none is any better or less than the rest!
…sometimes it’s imperfection rather than perfection that makes you shine.
The leaves don’t have to try to be as pretty as the trees.
The trees don’t have to try to be as pretty as the sky.
The sky does not have to be the watchful eye at night.
JUST BE. IT IS WHO YOU ARE. AND IT IS ALL THAT’S NEEDED.
Late spring you know the ring of tulips long past gone. Yet in the del color still tells in soft and deep hues of natural flowers blue! While greens a shrine of light and deep green blend in this feastful scene. I find myself waiting for my garden plants – the peony’s not yet burst. Their bulbs tell of things to come. Bright pinks to shine in the sun!
The above writings were done and posted – on Facebook – on my last work rotation.
Photos were taken at that time too.
