Particularly Sunday

Don’t have a problem
with most days
They fly by when I’m busy
though sometimes
when there isn’t time
I might get in a tizzy

Friday afternoons
are good
for I stop work at midday
Five and forty
hours are
enough, it’s fair to say

Weekend days
and Saturday
remain of course the best
Particularly
Sunday when
I get a nice long rest

    There’s just something about Sunday, maybe it’s the whole ‘God rested on the seventh day’ thing.
