Cold Sun

by The Cheesesellers Wife aka Kim Whysall-Hammond

Sharp shadows jag over bare branches
frost nips and tucks

trees scratch at the sky
calling for warmth

chill wind cuts my coat
lazily going through not round

cold sun gives no favour
aloof in winterbright sky
