Timeless String

by Venkat

hands wrung, long pauses

meditate on a timeless string

creased legs, woven fates

blue, chrome, orange, pink

swoons eucalyptus, gape shrubs

crabs on a timeless string

children of hard sky walls

but for a timeless string

same thuds, same groans

clone their colored palms

in the same yard
