Stripes

by Venkat

stripes, lay thoughts
creases as sands wear
stripes, wave memories
elastic as mountains dare

bones warmer than memory
skies too long to race
foot prints, carve eyes
deep as stripes will

winged lives, striped cheers
have skies of their own
by purple ringed smoke
too far for stripes to stare
