by Venkat

a new thought
now it limped over, green
eyes blown, puffed intents
a quiet cloud, a serene dragonfly

watered spirits, croon dreams
long combs for woolly locks
envying its green, a hopping toad

courage tipped, ambition ribbed
fresh wings off blue genes
golden beds, a honeyed bee

stung by seeds of freedom
off to dark dimwitted walls
in orange coats, a braided spider

uncoils to replicate sin all over
till mushrooms spill off the earth
wonder which legs now itch
for this centipede
