Voices

by Venkat

voices they twirl waters
no hooks to keep ears
carry my parched mind
in corners I live not

voices they shiver buds
no mornings to set eyes
bind my flaky footprints
in absences I feel not

voices they slice the moon
no moments to rest hats
lit my will from long seas
for the lives I breathe not
