Try As I Might
To Live In A Bubble
Away From The
World And It’s Trouble

The News
Of Reality
Hunts Me Down
Like A Demon
Haunting My Soul

And Ruins
The Dreams
And The Joy
I Awake With
Each Morning

Spoiling The Hope
I Have In My Heart
For Kindness
And World Peace

Leaving Me
With The Broken Pieces
Of Today’s Reality

A Jigsaw Puzzle Of Now
As I Wonder Why,
And Try
To Make Sense Of It All

As I Dream Of A Life
In My Own
Little Bubble
