Winter Sun

by The Cheesesellers Wife aka Kim Whysall-Hammond

The sky is empty
Pale winter blue
A single bar of cloudHovers over the western horizon
And as I drive
The sun dips behind it
The edges of the cloud glow silver
The strong beauty almost takes me off the road

  1. It does that; the sun. Wonderful stuff (it – and your words!)

  2. Really did enjoy it. Reminisced of the School days when I studied English Poetry. Thanks .
