They say your in a better place

.
They say your in a better place
But what the hell do they know
They say your always with me
As I shake my head real slow
There is no better place for you,

Except here in this world
Here where I can see you,
Touch, live and breathe you
And now I’m left to wonder,
Will I ever see you again?
Will you be the same age?
Will I know who you are?
Will you recognize me?
Will you be my North Star?
So that if we meet again,
I will know who you are.

Me an old woman and
you an old soul.

Will the universe know
If we’re faceless souls
That we belong together
In order to be whole.
