Till Again We Meet!

.

There was a joy in being little,
There was a joy in being clueless.
There was a joy in looking up at you,
There was a joy in seeing your kindness.
There was a joy in having problems,
I knew you would find out a way.

There was a joy in the assurance,
That you will always have the right thing to say.
I had to grow up since you are gone,
I am not being any good at it.
In trying to make peace with everything,
My mind is running in a pit.
I want to go back to being little,
I want to go back to being your baby.
The naughty mischief has been replaced,
With something dead, dull and heavy.
Why were you called this early?
You still had so much to do.
When you stood for everything happy,
Your absence is only filled with woe.
I think I might not miss you now,
It’s been a while that you are gone.
But my heart won’t stop bleeding,
Even today, I dreamt of you till dawn.
Be at peace whenever you are now,
You are a happy soul from your head to feet.
Your memories keep me going,
So long! Till again we meet.
