Yellow

Yellow is a living colour

the colour of the sun at noon,

the colour of the midnight moon,

of waving wheat and ripening corn,

the glowing horizon in early morn.

Yellow is my favourite rose

the petals firm in stately pose,

it exudes its scent every hour,

surpassed only  by the yellow mimosa’s power.
