glorifying the power of silence
as ravens gather in the rain
The stillness of shadows invite
spirits to contemplate new ways
to travel these twisted roads and paths
And as those birds become restless
beneath clouds too heavy in the sky
he sings a song of more
Not forgetting this monochrome melancholy
meant to insulate against tantrums of the impatient
is both melody and cure
Embracing the leverage of introspection
lingering in the absence of the daily hullabaloo
he serenades the weary
