Angels of Dark

by Venkat

in the gentle descent
in formless joy
doors still tight
in knobs of dawn
come angels
without dust

of gentler steps
of softer dreams
engines of yellow wheels
of the coy Sun

Angels tip-toe
magical arms
mystic teeth
wise breath
eyes of dew

seeds of cosmos
born in calm
held in ivory
closets of love

the train now up
engines no more
till huffs puffs bustle
without dust
of longer steps
of deeper dreams

knobs on
blushing Sun
