The world is covered in soft white.
As recent snow has blanketed our world,
this Easter Sunday.
It’s not unlike the cleansing and renewal
He offers through His death and resurrection.
As harsh as this world is, there is still hope
to replenish and start anew.
Daffodils to spill sunlight in bright yellow.
Mellow lavender pushes forth to bloom.
Crocus’s, a timely first flower.
Yes, in time, things will renew.
Oh, what joy to see this too!
Don’t hold back, splendid spring!
Surround us with beauty and light.
Sunlight dancing on the clouds.
Willing them to go.
An invite to the azure sky.
Happy Easter Sunday, morn, to all.
