By Charles Robert Lindholm
Is The Truth,
The Whole Truth
Really Important
For Everything
You Know And Believe?
For The Decisions
You Base Your Choices On
For The Life
You Want To Live?
I Know You
Think It Is
And You Probably
Answered Yes
To The Question
Are We Really
Who We Say We Are ?
Who Others Think
We Are?
Who We Want To
Believe We Are?
We Don’t Mean
To Hurt Anyone
When We Tell
A Little White Lie
Do We?
And Are Omissions
To Disclose
Deceit
And
Misrepresentations?
Careful
How You Answer
That Question
Does Anyone
Really Know
The “Whole Truth”
About The Person
In The Mirror?
Don’t We All
Wear Masks
To Hide Behind
To Hide From
The Truth?
We Could Make
A List For Ourselves
But That Would Be
Depressing
And Damage
Our Self Esteem
And Image Of
Ourselves That
We Have Built
And Manicured
For Years
So Let Me Start Off
By Saying
I Hide The Truth
About Me
In Plain Sight
And On Purpose
From Others
And The Mirror
I’m Not A Fan
Of The Color Gray
On Me
Shall I Go On?
Or Did You Want
To Join In About
Makeup
Clothes
Cars
Homes
Personalities
Fidelity
I’m Hiding
In Plain Sight
Are You?
