MIRRORS LIE

by thereluctantpoet

YOUNGER ME SEES OLDER ME IN MIRROR
By Charles Robert Lindholm

Mirrors Lie

I’ve Known That
Since I Saw
The Movie
Snow White

The Mirror
Said The Wicked
Queen Was The Fairest
Of Them All

And I’ve Known
Ever Since Then
To Never Trust
A Mirror

Mirrors Lie

Mirrors
Don’t See
The Real Me
It Only Shows
The Outside
You See

And I Think
They Distort
Even That
But They
Don’t Show
The Most Important
Thing About Me

What’s Inside
My Heart And Soul

Only Someone
Who Is Wise
Knows The Truth
About Mirrors

Mirrors Lie

The True Worth
And Beauty
Of A Person is
Beyond
What A Mirror
Can Show Us

Mirrors Lie
WHAT I'LL LOOK LIKE WHEN I'M OLDER
