She Gave Her Heart
Too Easily
Trusting In
His Lies

By All The Words
She Read
From His Eyes

He Hid
The Truth
A Mask
His Smile
His Best

He Broke Her Heart
Without  A Thought
As It Shattered
On The Floor

Then Crushed
The Pieces
Lying There
As He Headed
Out The Door

And Before
She Could Save
The Pieces
And The Dust
The Wind
Swept Them
Out To Sea

He Broke Her Heart
And Left Her
With No Way
For Her to
Mend It
Or Replace
The Missing Pieces
