Encrusted by Easter Ellen

by Easter Ellen

Though she had given all of her heart

to a man she fully trusted

He left her with a broken heart

That stagnated and rusted

Time did not heal her wounds

She never had adjusted

She sank into a sad abyss

Her heart fully encrusted

  1. Abyss can be a scary place. For you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss shall also gaze back into thee.
