CITY LIGHTS

City lights
Of red, green, and gold,
Reflect off the river,
In the early morning cold.
City lights,
Of red, green and gold,
Try to out shine
The morning moon so bold.

Lovers are stirring,
The sun is compromising,
Another early rising,
Into a city of hostillizing.

Soon beauty will fade,
Lovers beds will be made,
Another early trade,
Into a city to make the grade.

Radio is playing a new song,
Telling us how to get along,
Another early so long,
Into a city trying to get along.

City lights,
Of red, green and gold,
Reflect off the river,
In the early morning cold.
