SHE TOLD ME HER FANTASY

by thereluctantpoet

SHE WHISPERED HER FANTASY
By Charles Robert Lindholm

We Stopped
For Ice Cream
And After Her
Cone Was Delivered
She Licked It Twice,

Then Turned To Me
And Whispered
In My Ear

She Told Me
Her Fantasy
And I Assured
Her I Would
Love To See
Her Fantasy
Come True
As Soon As Possible
Because It Was
Mine Too

And As We Drove
Back To Her Place
I Wondered Why,
Dreams That Come True,
Are So Few
And Far Between
In The Days Of Our
Lives
