They Say, “Time Flies”
And It Does
Unless You Are At Work
Or Stuck In A Traffic Jam

Just Watch The Birthdays
You And Your Children
Mount Into Bigger
And Bigger Numbers

The Memories
Into The Past
But Are Still
As Treasured
And Remembered
As Ever Before

We Don’t Always
Make Note
Of The Milestones
As We Should
Because, Well
They Do Fly By

But Sometimes
We Need
To Take Time
To Celebrate
The Big Ones
And Today
Is A Big One
The Twentieth
Of Our First Date

Call Me Sentimental
Or Overly Romantic
But I Don’t Care
I Have Been Blessed
And I Hope You Are Too
With Being Able To
Live With Your
Soulmate And Best Friend

It’s Twenty Years
And I’m Counting
On More

This Is The Wish
That My Heart
Makes Today
And Everyday
