by Jem Croucher

At twilight down on Shoreham Beach
When the light is fading fast
And the whisper of the turning tide
Is dark as we walk past

The rising moon out to the East
Glistens on wet sand
Bright just like the sunshine
In the shadows where we stand

This fleeting time when daylight
Passes swiftly to the night
Affords some treasured moments
For a truly lovely sight

As silhouetted there against
The backdrop of the sea
The figures in my camera lens
Are captured perfectly
