No. 6 of 12 in the Jemverse ‘Twelve Months’ series
Delicate, I bow my head
To the first day of the year
And give to it my blessing
For happiness and cheer
Twenty eighteen, here at last
January one
I bring a snowdrop promise
To the year that’s just begun
For I have heart and I have hope
This year throughout will bring
Things that bring a smile
And give you cause to sing
