Again, the Season To Be Jolly

Again, the season to be jolly?
Again upon us? How appalling.
I missed Black Friday’s online sales,
And visits to the mall are fails–
For gift certificates I’ll soon be trawling.

But ‘moping on is simple folly’.
‘There is no use in further stalling.’
‘Procrastination naught assails.’ …
My platitudes have hit the rails–
l guess I’ll go get ready for a mall-ing.
