I find it interesting and sad
that men are like mice
so easily trained and seduced
by what they see and hear
and experience
They say if you reward a mouse
who has successfully tapped on a door
with a hit of cocaine once it will actually
kill itself trying to get just one more hit
(thousands of tries)
Society has us all trained and men especially
to believe in the dream
to accomplish the impossible
to trust that it will be different for them
It’s a psychological application
of the law of large numbers
to dating and sex
if you just keep trying
you will be rewarded
Don’t believe me?
look at little league
or high school and college football
they all have the dream
to some degree
they believe it could happen
So, if someone has heard about
how to get what they want or
actually been rewarded
then is it any wonder
that the mice keep trying?
Perhaps, we will start to see
a change in these evil attempts
now that the mice have begun
to pay the price for their sins
and men will stop hurting
themselves and the victims
when they see the consequences
dealt out and made public
