Change of Seasons; Change of Heart

by Harry

Submitted by Adrian King

With the falling leaves
Did his ambitions reign high
But end soon appeared.

Down came silent snow.
Christmas season had arrived
Yet gifts brought no joy.

Blossoms hung in dew
Birds chirped once again
But he sang no more.

The sun had now woke
And children were free of school
Yet he did not smile.

But once autumn came
Winds were roaring through
The boy turned to God.

Through every season
Sun, wind, rain, flowers,
He was truly free.

Leaves, snow, blossoms fell
But change did not bother him
He had chosen peace.change of season;change of heart
