I wander
in dreams of possibilities
until the sun
chases away the darkness
and my dreams
with a sneaking sunrise
Dragged back
through a tunnel of time
into a new day where
reality waits for me
at the detour I took
when I escaped
into my dreams
And as I wake,
I curse the sun

Yes Sue, you are so right! Wonderful inspiration. And in reviewing your comment I was remembering what I had written that was inspired by your piece and realized I had forgotten to post the final piece – to date anyway. “A WONDERING WORD”. I will post it for tomorrow. I hope you will like it.
