Lost in thought

by Colly

A heart can never mend when it’s holding onto what can never be…

The possible seems always impossible with me, why?

I’m so tired of believing in thing’s that never transpire…

Life is just an illusion; death is a reality…

Even as death takes hold of my heart life leads me onward.

Yellow leaf curled and worn crunching under feet it’s torn.

I’ve dwindled down to just a curled leaf, rolled and tumbling in autumn’s breeze.

Don’t make me sad; I’m already that way…

If I could feel happy I would, but that will never happen…

When the heart’s in pain it stings…

Misery keeps repeating itself but in different way’s.
