Some People

by Abigail Gronway

Some people
come into our lives
and we hardly know
they are there.
They drop in
and right back out again
like callers
to a crowded
open house.

But then there are those
who come inside and take up residence,
and almost imperceptibly
they change who we
will become…
and we them.

  1. This is such a wise and wonderful post! I love the topic. True friends vs fair weather friends or acquaintances vs. friends.
It is a true and loyal friend that will sit with you in the darkness and stand up for you to the crowd!!! I too have been blessed with My Dear Friends and treasure them!! I love it that true friends do help change you for the better. I have always heard that you should always leave someone you spend time with better off than when you found them i.e. hope, knowledge, faith, love, joy. Bellissimo, Abigail, Bellissimo!!

I love to collect seeds, too!
