Poem of the day – Picked up Presence

by paturnerlee

Picked up Presence

Fly tip: stripped of personal possessions

A median measured: just part of a whole

A crescent moon, turning to an audience

A bravo moment to snap untied strings

Its another thing to blister pack boulders

Popping protection

Releasing air when breathing

Just seething with intent

Meant to be left for the carvery

Like heart dough in a squashed banana bread beating

Choking on crumbs

Stunning the world: or does it.

Humble gestures amount to an army of beasts

Ceasing to have any understanding

Landing firmly on your feet

Forget and endeavour

Blood on the street is flowing

Just knowing a tension

Like a badly written ballad

With a tune to be crafted

For complications

To rest
