No Voice Left

by graypoet

Forrest reminded us that life is like a box of chocolates
Who knows what we will get as we go though challenges
There are times we see planets align we feel so blessed
Then we turn around, almost knocked down by changes.

It seems we all desire to be on the road to a happy life
Smooth sailing and one smile coming after the other
Maybe if we lived in a bubble we could find such days
More often our ride is closer to that of a roller coaster.

We give of our time and our emotions, sharing a dream
Personalities are involved along with the trust we share
While two can build such a wonderful journey to build
A third stepping back in, you wonder if the really care.

For some they can have many involved in their circle
No one more important than the rest, that is a choice
When two have agreed they want something special
That extra person leaves me lost, without any voice.
