I SHALL BE SILENT

If the words
that You read
by my hand
hurt You

I shall lay down my pen
and not write
for I never
ever want to hurt
the heart of My Friend

If the words
that I said
cut You 

I shall hold my tongue
and not speak
for I never
ever want to hurt
the ones who I care for
and who have cared for me

I shall never again
betray the trust
of the ones
who trusted me

I shall protect
the ones I love,
from me 

I shall be silent !
