What If

What If

-Linda Lee Lyberg

What if

A heart is sad,

But can love just the same

As when it is joyous and true

The sadness has nothing to do with you

And everything to do with life’s test,

To merit the worthiness of

A love divine

What if.

  1. I would think hearts can love the same whether sad or joyous. It just seems like something is missing with the sadness. Perhaps that is part of the test you mentioned.

  2. The beauty here is more on the lovely “hat” you put on with the words “What if”. That is the perfect lever to hold your question / message. Nice.
