It’s not what I expected it to be.
For somehow I don’t really feel quite free.

The lack of structure is unbearably
Like a ship without a rudder forced to drift across the sea.

  1. So lovely Angela! As You always seem to do, You have captured the longing feeling of being cared for by having limits. No limits is not freedom or liberty in Love. It is “I don’t care enough”! Just like I told my girls when they were young. “We have rules because we care about You, we want You to be safe and because we love You”.

Thank You for showing us that Liberty, complete liberty, comes with a high price for us and those that love us and are forced to accept us on unfair terms! Bravo Angela!!!!

  2. Loved your perspective… 🙂

  3. Reblogged this on The Reluctant Poet and commented:

Angela shares some words of wisdom that things aren’t always what they are cracked up to be!
    Please enjoy – “LIBERTY”.

  4. A logical suggestion would be to use your liberty to make a rudder, but I prefer summoning winds and currents.
