First University summer vacation

First University summer vacation
Getting the band back together
Trying to make it all good
But a winter away from each other
Makes strangers from old school friends

Going on the “last family holiday”
Trying to fit back in
Suddenly square in the round hole
Suddenly a spare part in the family group
Awkwardly adult

    I can certainly relate. Coming back home after a three year stint in the Army. Everything had changed yet there was nothing different about the place. Well done.
