Heaven

To be held by you once again

To feel your warm embrace

To feel your heart beat next to mine

To gaze upon your face.

Had I known you would be gone

When the morning sun arose

I would have kissed your sweet moist lips

And on your heart imposed

A love so strong and wonderful

That you could not resist

A faith in me more beautiful

Than all that now exists.

A lovely pink rose I would have given

In all its complete perfection

To signify what we had

Our own piece of heaven.
